When you return, the second half will focus on analyzing the data you have collected, before bringing the whole project together and writing up your findings and conclusions. 1. The research topic is Social Media of Festival Las Falls in Spain. 2. Compile an aim and a set of objectives that should enable the research project’s purpose to be fulfilled. 3. Write an appropriate introduction to the project followed by an extended rationale in which you justify the importance of the project on both academic and vocational grounds. The academic justification should reflect a working theoretical framework conceived from contemporary literature on your subject (peer-reviewed articles mostly). The vocational aspect should consider industry trends/consumer demands/local economy and so on. 4. Develop a methodology. The methodology should include the following aspects: – Research approach – Design of data collection methods – sampling – Procedures (to include ethics) – Data analysis techniques 5. Write-up the results of your data collection and offer a discussion of what you have found out. Where possible, link your findings to the academic literature.

Think carefully about the organization and layout of material, the inclusion of charts, etc. 6. Draw conclusions on the outcomes of your research – these should include the specific purpose of the research and a reflection on your performance and any limitations and constraints encountered in the research process. 7. Offer a few recommendations – these should be realistic – a suggestion is to consider micro aspects related to your project as well as more macro aspects related to the destination and, if appropriate but not necessarily anticipated: academia. 8. Provide a reference list. 9. Where relevant, please include any suitable material as appendices e.g. a copy of your questionnaire; a spreadsheet; an extract from a report, and so on.
